 The shirt was designed for a FedEx campaign, making the wearer appear to be holding a FedEx package on their side.

 Amazing concept. This was for marketing hair growth products in Singapore.

Week 6 - Fashion Design vs Interior Design

This week i would like to share the fashion design. I found some fashion design is really unique and pretty as well as the color that applied to the clothes are really fresh and sharp. Thus, here are some photo that i found in the website. I quite like their design because it attracts my attention to further see their fashion design in their website.

Interior design will be my next sharing on this week too. I found that there are a lot of creative and awesome interior design. It is very unique and new to me in term of the interior design. I feel that most of the interior design will make the interior become more elegant and modern in a building which is proved that it is how important of the interior design for a building in order to present out a wonderful places that we can be lived happily, comfortably and contented in our life.

Week 5 - Model & Nike Exhibition

This week, lecturer taught us the techniques of how to cut the board in order to produce a model of bus-stand before than that. He show us carefully on cutting the class to avoid any injury from happening when cutting the board. Besides, he also called few students try to cut the board in front the class with the purpose to make sure all students know how to cut and regard the safety of each person. At the same time, lecturer also prepared the plasters. The lecture section is quite interesting and fresh because lecturer also show us some model which is done by the senior and him.

Here is the example of bus-stand model that we gonna do later on which is shown by the lecturer in the class.

Another model that is shown by the lecturer is his artwork, i think it is and not sure. The model is the places that carry out the exhibition or event which the name is called EXPO. The overall model is awesome and pretty. So, i took few photo of it. Here is it.

~~ week of sharing ~~

This week i would like to share a exhibition in Midvalley. The exhibition is about the display of the latest and new design of the sport shoes which is NIKE. The overall design of the exhibition is very pretty and creative enough. It is quite fresh on the way they how to design in this exhibition. For me, main idea is quite suitable for the sport shoes, Nike.

Here are the photo i took. Please have a look. It is very pretty and i like the way they design in this exhibition. It attracts a lot people to took photo there.

 

 

 

 

Week 4 - Form Follows Function or Function Follows Form?

What is the meaning between these 2 phrase, 'FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION' and 'FUNCTION FOLLOWS FORM' ? This is the task that is given by the lecturer this week.

First of all, form is the elements that make up our designs, our pages while function is the objective of the design whether it is a sign giving directions or a book that entertains with a story. Form is both the overall look and feel of the page as well as the shape and look of the individual components. Form is also the format whether the piece is a poster, brochure booklet or a self-mailer newsletter. Function is the practical, getting down to business part of the process of design and desktop publishing. Function is the purpose of the piece whether it is to sell, to inform or educate, to impress, or to entertain.


Form follows function means something is created in a manner which allows it to perform its function. It always starts with the design process by first getting as much information as possible about the purpose of the piece you are creating and the appearance of the architecture clearly and simply expressed the structure, without any unnecessary symbolism or decoration.  

On conversely,function follows form is more likely always end up with formalism, satisfied the building’s appearance from outside view, but we don’t know what will be happen inside and the most important function is to design an iconic structure or in a style distinctive to them as to distinguish themselves from other companies.  

As a conclusion, form and function will be very important in a project, and since there is no right or wrong in design. I believed that it is really a matter of personal perception and resolving. It is one of the issues that give us more than one solution to design issues. Both are equally important and cannot be neglected for the other's sake.

I would also like to share some creative furniture. It is very creative and awesome. Good in designing and the same time they have a good interface design.

It is a chair and also a book shelves.
